We signed up with MachineHub.com over almost three years ago when Nick Lykon, the owner of Lykon Machinery, was introduced to Jeff Stern of MachineHub.com.

Now that we got through the preliminaries, let me get to the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The Good:

o We found that MachineHub.com dashboard was fairly easy to use and straight forward. There is a slight learning curve, like anything, but it is straightforward. We even received live online training from Karen.

o  Support is superb. One of the best I have experienced over of my 58 years of working with support teams. (I started with IBM in 1978.)

  • They are USA based, English speaking, and respond many times        within minutes, and of course when not on duty, by the next day.
  • As a machinery dealer, we found that MachineHub.com does not always have the brand of machine or item in their database. In their support dropdown panel, there is a section to request to add a new brand, and that normally happens with an email response within minutes.
  • Enhancements and feature changes seem to come easy. Meaning, all you have to do is articulate the feature, the benefits, and how it has been restraining you from using MachineHub.com to its full potential, and the support team reviews the enhancement or feature and 9 out of 10 times, they implement it.
  • Live support personnel. Jeff, Jeremy, or Karen from support even give you a call when needed.

o  eBay Feed is one of the most important parts for us. We do not use MachineHub.com to feed smaller-ticket items — under $1,000 on eBay. All the information goes right into eBay once you set it up properly and know the ins & outs of the MachineHub.com dashboard.

  • The eBay feature is not perfect, but getting there.

o  Facebook Marketplace is also where we list our products. How MachineHub.com helps us there? All the listings that we post on eBay from MachineHub.com, are pulled by our Crosslist.com account and Crosslist.com posted all the listing directly to our Lykon Machinery Facebook Marketplace store.

  • Using this approach, we do get quite a bit of calls and sales from the FBM. This is a definitely plus. The Crosslist.com account is a no fuss big deal for Machinery Dealers who use MachineHub.com.
  • This is also a feature that I would recommend that MachineHub.com to invest in.

o  Lykon Machinery.com website which is a branch of MachineHub.com is essential to our business. All the listings we post on the MachineHub.com dashboard we select to get pushed to our dealer website and eBay at once. No fuss. Just arrives with a few checkboxes marked and a click. Then in our Crosslist.com account from eBay to Facebook Marketplace. Great for sellers.

The Bad & the Ugly:

o  This is where I have to disappoint you, because there is no bad or ugly.

o  Jeff Stern had his team update the original dealer website structure, of which we originally came in on — to the AI assisted and GEO (Genitive Search Engine — ChatGPT. etc.) friendly. That change brings any machinery dealer’s website they have through MachineHub.com, into a place that other dealers lack.

I want to close this review out by thanking Jeff and his entire team for putting-out not only a very good product for machinery dealers, but enhancing and adding-to that product to keep up with the times so we can stay competitive in the marketplace.

Thank you,

Jeff Stephen Gola
