MDNA Premier Vendor Spotlight: All-Ways Trucking Inc.

When machinery dealers decide what they want to buy, sell, scrap, or relocate, that just might be the easy part. Getting what they’ve bought, sold, scrapped, or moved is an entirely different set of decisions.  And that’s where All-Ways Trucking comes in.

Operating out of Medford, in southern Oregon, All-Ways Trucking has provided comprehensive third-party logistics and shipment services to customers for more than three decades.  And the company has been an MDNA Premier Vendor since 2018.

“We know a lot of MDNA members buy things from businesses that are replacing equipment or going out of business,” All-Ways Trucking’s President and Co-Owner Mark Pedersen said in a recent interview. “And those businesses might operate in a different area, so the buyers are not familiar with that territory and who to call to ship from there. So, rather than making several calls to local trucking companies or carriers to find out if what they need is even a lane they service, they can just call us, and we’ll arrange it all for them.”

The arrangements All-Ways Trucking makes run the gamut, from heavy haul, flatbed, dedicated LTL, van, and piggyback rail shipments to securing the required permits. Pedersen, who co-founded All-Ways Trucking in 1992 along with five colleagues — all with backgrounds in the transportation industry — said the company prides itself on tackling any and all shipping needs.

“If customers want tracking on their freight, we can send them a link, and they can see where the driver is the entire way,” he explained. “They can have complete visibility. It’s customer-centric. We’re definitely accessible at all times, and our customers know that. All our customers have the direct number and cell number of their account rep. They are not getting voicemails, they’re getting people — 24/7. Phone or text — we are very visible.”

Mark appreciates the connections All-Ways Trucking has made through the MDNA. “The quality of those individuals is well above the industry standard,” he said of the organization and its members. “It’s all about the relationships we’ve built with these folks. With their integrity and the kind of people they are, our relationships have just gotten tighter and tighter. When there’s an MDNA customer, we make sure that we pay special attention and that they are well taken care of because they take care of us.”

Mark said All-Ways Trucking arranges shipments throughout the U.S. and does considerable business in Canada, as well.  The company employs 27 experienced associates and is dedicated to making complex arrangements work out well for everyone.

“They trust that we’re going to see things all the way through, with excellent communication and visibility and transparency,” he said of his customers. “That’s the peace of mind we offer. We’re competent. We’ve been doing it a long time, and the sales representatives who call on them have been doing it a long time, too. We feel like we’ve done a really good job of being well-connected in the industry and offer the kind of service our customers expect and deserve.”

It’s what you can count on from All-Ways Trucking — always.
