Recipient of the 2025 Dick Goldstein Leadership Award -Andy Kamashian, CEA

Andy Kamashian, CEA, has become familiar with nearly every aspect of machinery sales success through his involvement with the MDNA in various official and voluntary capacities. His dedication to the organization was recognized last spring when the MDNA presented him with its Dick Goldstein Leadership Award, which salutes “exemplary and extraordinary leadership qualities demonstrated by a current member of the MDNA Board of Directors, MIS Executive Committee or AMEA Board of Directors.”

The late Dick Goldstein was involved in MDNA leadership throughout a long career with Chicago-area machinery dealers.

Andy is president of both Southern Fabricating Machinery Sales, a Tampa-area enterprise that has been an MDNA member for 15 years and BendmakUSA, a new machine tool distributor throughout all of North America for new machinery manufactured in Turkey.  He has served in prominent roles with MDNA’s Southern Regional Chapter leadership since 2018, and is currently Immediate Past Chapter Chair and Board representative as well as a member of the national board. He considers the depth and breadth of that involvement a one-of-a-kind opportunity for those in the manufacturing equipment trade.

“It has been a mission very dear to my heart — not only what we do on a professional level but what we do on a personal level,” Andy says of his efforts with the MDNA. “In this business, there are no other associations or organizations that provide the ability to get together with people that do the same thing you do, undergo the same stresses you undergo, and deal with the same problems you deal with, and yet have risen to find the same resolve other than the MDNA.

“It’s definitely a group I believe in and I believe that anybody whose primary business involves buying or selling used machinery should not only join, but be involved in the MDNA — and in the network it provides.”
